FDA approves Lupin Pharma Desloratadine tablets 5mg

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted final approval to Lupin Pharmaceuticals' Desloratadine tablets 5mg.

Desloratadine tablets 5mg are the generic version of Schering-Plough's Clarinex tablets, 5mg.

Clarinex, a prescription medication, treats year-round allergy symptoms and ongoing hives of unknown cause, in adults and children 6 months and older, and seasonal allergy symptoms in patients 2 years and older.

Lupin Pharma is the US subsidiary of Lupin Limited.
